Certificate Authority: An issuer of Security Certificates used in SSL connections.
CGI: Common Gateway Interface: A protocol that allows a website to run a program on a server. Forms, counters, and guestbooks are common examples.

Cookie: A cookie is a piece of information sent to a browser by a server. The browser then returns that information to the Web server. This is how some websites "remember" your previous visits.
Database: This is any collection of data: part numbers, product codes, customer information, etc. It usually refers to data stored on a computer.
DNS: Domain Name System. A system of servers located throughout the Internet that handle Internet connections and the routing of email.
